Rezumat

Sursele de arhivă din secolele XVIII–XIX ne permit reconstituirea, cel puțin parțială, a procesului prin care o adevărată dinastie de preoți români din sud-estul Transilvaniei și-a schimbat numele de familie dintr-unul românesc într-unul cu rezonanță maghiară, cel mai probabil în încercarea de a „face parte din peisaj” în mijlocul unei regiuni dominate de maghiari.
